Kristi D. Lawrence is a veteran Journalist with more than 20 years in television. Upon graduating from the nationally recognized Journalism School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, she began her professional career at CNN World Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, where she worked on some of the network's biggest shows.

Kristi then moved into local news as a producer and writer for FOX5 Atlanta, where she wrote and produced for numerous Emmy Award-winning newscasts. Her weekly segment, “Wednesday’s Child,” featured Georgia children who were up for adoption. In the six years that Kristi wrote and produced this segment, more than 60% of the children featured were adopted into loving forever homes.

She also worked as a field producer for FOX5, collaborating with reporters and photographers to ensure seamless news stories. She covered breaking news, special events, and conducted celebrity interviews.

As a producer for a wedding planning show that aired on The Lifetime Network, Kristi interviewed hundreds of wedding planners, brides, and vendors. She also covered the New York Bridal Fashion Week to get the scoop on the hottest bridal gown trends, where she interviewed famous bridal designers.

After moving to New Mexico in 2011, Kristi became the Sales and Marketing Director for Albuquerque Little Theatre, helping to breathe new life into their marketing and promotion. Her creative media pitches and the strategic partnerships she initiated locally had a direct impact on the theater’s bottom line – increasing attendance at shows and raising more revenue.

Additionally, her PR work for FemCity Albuquerque has won the brand new group valuable press in numerous media outlets in a very short time.
